Job Requirements:

2 years previous manufacturing experience at the same company- required 1-2 years machine operating experience in manufacturing- required 12 hour shift experience- required Previous plastics manufacturing experience-preferred min of 1 yr. Previous forklift certification-required. Must have stable job history. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to work weekends. (2 weekends / mth) Steel Toed Boots. Primary functions are to monitor machine operations while producing a wide variety of product mixes and report any machinery inconsistencies to the supervisor, maintenance or manager. Must be able to read and use measurement instruments (mics, calipers, tape measure, ruler etc). Must be able to perform simple math. Must be able to handle the physical demands of the job and work at a steady fast pace for duration of shift.

Currently seeking 20+ candidates for a manufacturing client that galvanize steel and metal located in Harrisburg, NC.

All shifts available-- 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift

We are now offering shift differential pay for anyone who works 2^nd or 3^rd shift on the Galvanizing side. 2^nd shift is an additional $.75 and 3^rd shift is an additional $1.00.

Also, for any employee converted to a perm Employee, we will use their Temp position start date as their hire date. This will allow employees to hit their benefit eligibility date 90 days from start date vs. 90 days from conversion date.

Job Duties:

Responsible for preparing products and materials for the galvanizing process by wiring and hanging individual pieces on racks and fixtures and stacking beams, pipes and tubes in stands.

Inspecting and identifying worn or damaged fixtures, chains and hooks and facilitating proper repair or discarding irreparable items.

Hand wiring parts to racks for picking and galvanizing.

Moving steel by hand from different locations in the yard.

Wiping excess zinc and or ash from steel as it is removed from galvanizing kettle.

Using power tools to help prepare steel for pickling or galvanizing.

Job Requirements:

All candidates must pass E-verify, background and Drug Test.

All candidates must have steel toed boots.

Must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, snow etc).

Prefer candidates who have previous experience working outside and in construction or general labor positions- but not required.
